If the attachment you're trying to download saves as a php file, change the extension to 7z.

attachment.php -> attachment.7z

This is apparently a browser issue, so there isn't anything we can do about it.

On the 25th of this month, mathacks.com turned one year old.

Sorry for the sudden absence. Unprecedented events have pulled us off the internet, but we will resume operation starting today.

Also, I'm likely going to be removing myself from the material hacking scene, though I will still be present. I probably won't be continuing my tutorial videos or updating my hacks, but there are plenty of contributors here who are more than able to fill the gap.

Furthermore, I'm going to be moving hosts soon, so bear with me and keep your bookmarks on mathacks.com.

L4D2 hacks are currently broken do to consistency checks added in an update. They are difficult to bypass, and currently we have no solution.

Do not make threads asking "Is it possible to get them working?", "Why are my hacks broken?". The thread will be deleted. Posting possible solutions is fine, asking for them isn't.

To fix your errors, right-click L4D2 in the library, click "Properties", then "Verify integrity of game cache..."

This will redownload any missing or incorrect files.
